Our mediation team follow Civil Mediation Council accredited mediation practice for Civil & Commercial Mediation. We offer mediators with extensive experience of alternative dispute resolution who have a real understanding of the commercial background to your dispute.  Most importantly, we work in partnership with you to ensure that you remain in control of both timescales and costs.

Our team is able to handle the highest-calibre and most complex disputes for national and global clients covering a wide range of sectors and industries, including transport, energy, banking & finance, construction and insurance to name a few.

Typical areas of practice include:

  • Energy industry disputes: oil, gas, nuclear, environment;
  • Joint venture partnership disputes;
  • transport collisions;
  • Personal injury;
  • High value insurance claims;
  • Family claims - divorce settlements etc.

Mediations which are likely to take several days to resolve may be held in the ideal surroundings of Grand Cayman - a paradise where disputing parties can not only focus on resolving their dispute away from the pressures of their normal work but also relax between mediation sessions. This helps parties to focus on how to best to resolve disputes without the usual excessive litigation costs that these types of dispute have become expected to bring.
